DAREY ART ALADE: I WAS ONLY TRYING TO BE ARTISTIC

When Daret Art Alade dropped his fifth studio album titled ‘Unclad,’ it got Nigerians talking because of how he showed up on his promo pictures without clothes.

Why would he do this? He said that the picture is a visual representation of the real story behind the ‘unclad’ album. The idea is to be vulnerable and to be vulnerable.

He also needed to do something that he have never done before. Something he could probably swear he would never do but also it’s not because he is trying to make some kind of social media frenzy statement or whatever.

The picture was not done in a distasteful manner but it was about him making an artistic statement.It’s art and there is a clear difference between trying to be obscene and vulgar and trying to be artistic. This is him trying to be artistic, he said
