I’M ABSENT FROM ACTING BECAUSE I WANT TO LIVE LONG…BISI IBIDAPO

Nollywood actress and business woman, Bisis Ibidapo, who has been long absent in the big screen, has explained that she was advised not to feature in all movies that come her way.

According to Bisi while sharing her reasons with the Nation, she said a senior colleague in the industry had told her that to be able to remain relevant she has to reduce the amount of scripts she accepts so as to be respected.

Bisi noted that aside the advise, she is not the kind of actress that “like hopping from one location to the other and it is not a matter of pride,” but her personality.

She emphasized that as an actress who knows how tasking their job is, she also needs to live long as work is not all that matters but good rest. “The reason is that I try to give myself time to rest because as Yoruba people would say, ‘emi ise gun ju emi eniyan lo’ (work is endless but life is short).”
